CAUGHT BROKEN

The A's have been catching the breaks. Mark Ellis caught it on his right index finger.

That is huge.

The A's can have Antonio Perez in the ALCS should they advance, but that does not seem very promising.

Mark Ellis broke the record for fielding percentage for a 2nd baseman this season. He is going to win the AL Gold Glove.

The A's rely on his defense.

Just as the sun was shining.
