The BLOG represents my opinions, my thoughts and the general leaking from my brain on the Oakland Athletics Baseball Club. I create posts and publish them on the web.

You can comment on these posts over at the FORUM. At the FORUM you can also create your own posts and use it as a message board. There are a few different styles you can choose and you can add your own avatar and images.

Below the opening is a split pane view of some of the regular features; on the right are the wrap-ups from each game along with links to traditional media recaps and my opinion on those (usually very critical). On the left are columns or articles that I write on general or broader concepts. Such as the ongoing A's offensive woes or why Huston Street pitching more than one inning is a bad idea.

The IN GAME WEBCHATS are exactly that.


Within a half hour of the first pitch of a game a chat room is created. To get to the chat room, click on the IN GAME WEBCHAT link. You can choose to create an account or jump right in as a guest.

Once you decide on a username you are plopped into the 'LOBBY'. Just below the 'LOBBY' is a link to the current game. Click on that to join in on the festivities.

Those who create an account can utilize the audio and video functionality. Saves some energy that would otherwise be spent pounding on the keyboard - you can just scream and foam at the mouth when Ken Macha comes out to make a pitching change. You'll need your own mic and speaker (of course, it's not magic).
